Sara Gilbert, the 49-year-old star of ‘Roseanne,’ has filed for divorce from her famous wife. Shocking details revealed…

Famous actress Sara Gilbert has decided to legally dissolve her marriage to music singer Linda Perry. They have revealed the details of their separation and divorce.

After years of marriage, “Roseanne” star Sara Gilbert, 49, and “What’s Up” singer Linda Perry, 59, have formally called it quits.

Legal records obtained by a news site reveal Sara filed to make her split from Linda permanent. This comes several years after the Primetime Emmy nominee filed for formal separation.

Unfortunately, according to the same publication, the former couple filed for divorce at Stanley Mosk Courthouse on April 23, 2024, with no chance of reconciliation.

The case falls under the category “Dissolution with Minor Children (General Jurisdiction).” Sara and Linda filed for separation in December 2019 after almost six years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.

Another rumored revelation concerning Sara’s application is that the “Atypical” star has informed the court that she has not requested spousal support for herself or Linda.

Linda and Sara married in 2014, and the following year, Sara gave birth to their son, Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry.

A previous episode of “The Talk” revealed Rhodes’ birth on February 28, 2015. Sara was still a co-host of the show, with TV star Julie Chen.

“Our very own Sara and her wife Linda Perry are the proud parents of a new baby boy,” Julie earlier stated.

Although this was the former couple’s first child together, they already had Sara’s two children, Levi and Sawyer Gilbert-Adler. Sara’s prior relationship with Allison Adler resulted in the birth of Levi and Sawyer.

In contrast to her generally reserved and modest demeanor, Sara spoke up about her and Linda’s experience becoming parents. Sara expressed her feelings during the Family Equality Council’s 2016 LA Impact Awards, where she and Linda received recognition.

“I was fortunate to have two children before meeting Linda, and we eventually formed a family. And I knew when we married that Linda wanted a baby, that even though we were a family—all four of us—she needed to follow a tiny soul from the start,” Sara previously stated.

The actress from “The Conners” then discussed Linda and their son, Rhodes, and their tight relationship when he was born.

“I look at their relationship and these children and wonder, ‘How is it possible that some people can’t experience that?’” “It’s simply unbelievable,” Sara continued.Sara agreed to an interview with a media outlet two years after she gave a speech in which she revealed some information about Linda and their family. She talked about being more comfortable discussing details about her personal life.

“My first instinct will be like, ‘No, I don’t want to do that.’ I’ve learned that it’s better to push against that and just try it,” she told me.

Sara concluded her speech by stating, “If it remains unchanged, that’s fantastic.” However, often when you begin a process, you find yourself thinking, ‘Oh, this is actually fun.’”

Sara Gilbert may not be having a “fun” time right now, having recently filed to make her and Linda’s legal separation permanent, but she and Linda are doing their best to navigate their new normal.

According to insiders, Sara and Linda have been focusing on keeping things pleasant for themselves and their families rather than harboring hatred or hostility toward one another.

Despite finalizing their divorce, Sara and the “No Place Like Home” singer will continue to be active in each other’s lives due to their small children. They will communicate, and even establish co-parenting.
