As wildfires wreak havoc across Los Angeles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are actively supporting relief efforts through their Archewell Foundation. They’ve also opened their Montecito home to friends and family forced to evacuate, HELLO! confirms.
The couple has donated essential supplies, including clothing and children’s items, to those affected. They are working closely with chef José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen, which provides meals to disaster-hit communities.
In a heartfelt message on their website, the Duke and Duchess described the destruction caused by the fires, which have displaced thousands and devastated homes, schools, and medical centers.
They encouraged others to help by donating necessities or offering shelter to those in need. They also shared links to organizations like World Central Kitchen and Baby2Baby.
Although their Montecito home is currently safe, power outages in the area may force the family to leave with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The fires, which began on January 7, have destroyed over 20,000 acres, forced widespread evacuations, and claimed multiple lives. Among those affected is Paris Hilton, who lost her Malibu beach home. She shared her heartbreak online but expressed gratitude that her family and pets are safe.
