Many of us want to present our best selves, which may include making a few modifications. Many individuals prioritize improving their smiles, and one grandma is no exception.
Hayley Debra Potter fought with gum disease for 14 years, eventually losing her teeth. Dental operations were necessary to restore her smile due to the discoloration of her few remaining teeth.
She tried to disguise her smile at first, but she wasn’t the kind to do so. She then decided to fly to Turkey and visit Antalya. She was pleased to have some “Turkey Teeth.”
Hayley considered a price of approximately £20,000 in the UK to be somewhat excessive. However, after deciding to fly to Turkey, she learned that it was far more affordable at £8,000.
She flew in early October for the approximately 4.5-hour procedure, which involved the extraction of her 13 remaining teeth. She chose bridges and implants at the age of 57, starting with ten dental implants.
She had to wear dentures for six months after her first procedure to allow her body to heal. After that, the crowns and bridges were ready for installation.
Given all of the tales about Turkey Teeth, one might assume she had a terrible experience, yet she is overjoyed. She expressed that her confidence has skyrocketed.
Hayley works as a hospital ward maid all day and is usually anxious. She used to avoid flashing her teeth when she smiled.
She said, “I had to mentally prepare myself to remain composed and concentrate on the outcome.”
“The surgeon’s attractiveness kept me up the entire time, but I didn’t mind!”
I scarcely recognized myself after the operation since I was so bruised and swollen.
However, I’m feeling amazing right now. I truly believe this will improve my life. This is the largest smile I’ve ever had.
She said that she felt better than she looked, despite the fact that she appeared to have recently returned from a painful dental encounter. She said she was “no pain at all” and numb on day one.
“I was provided anti-inflammatory and medications. Even though I was very bruised and swollen, I felt a lot of support because everyone else in the hotel was having cosmetic surgery, she explained.
She will need to wear dentures for around six months while the implants heal. She has been on a soft food diet since returning home and will continue to do so while she heals.
Hayley said, “I was a little anxious before, but everything went so well; I have no complaints.”
“I used to be unable to eat hard items due to the poor condition of my teeth, but now I am unable to chew them.”
“I feel fantastic. I already know that this will drastically change my life. I’ve never smiled so much in my life, and I can’t help but grin whenever I go past a mirror.
